Smart Reply: Use non-virutal identity when filtering removes all virtual ones

Reported by:… Owned by: rene
Version: 0.5.13 Keywords:

Suppose you are using multiple accounts. One of them you want to use Virtual Identity for ("the first account"), one you don't ("the second account").

I configured filters, such that all addresses received with the first account will match - works fine for that account. Secondly, none of the addresses received with the second account ever match the filters.

The result is, that any reply to mails to the second account has all addresses collected from the configured headers to choose from. It would be great if one could (optionally) prevent this. The algorithm might go: If filters exist and none of the collected addresses matches the rules, do not use smart reply here.

please check the debug-log (activate in last tab of configuration dialog) to see how your filters are working. I assume that you added an empty line at the end of your filters and this will just add everything. remove this last empty line and everything will be fine.

Else you can post the debug-log here and I will have a look. I don't think another option is required, but not sure. Please replace any confidential information from the debug-log before posting here.

Nice regards, Rene

Right you are. There was an empty line at the end of filters. That is absolutely unintuitive and should be changed.
