3. Configuration
At the Beginning the configuration options often look really extensive. Most of them are a result of comments from other extension users. The idea of this is to integrate Virtual Identity as much as possible in the workflow of the users. The extension should support you, not come in your way all the time. If you have the feeling something can be described better, configured easier or some option is missing, please change the relevant page and/or create a ticket.
As a help there are some icons above the Tabs in the configuration dialog. They can be seen as a flow-chart of virtual Identity's work. At the Beginning the Source-Mail will get analysed, and probably used to determine your sending address. Even the Storage is used as indicated with the hard-drive to read your sending identity. There is some Selection happening, which of the possible Identities are you going to use. And than there is the Compose Dialog, you can change how the extension show up in you mail-program. At the end you will send your mail - in the Sending-Tab you can configure all sending-related options.
