1. Introduction

Virtual Identity is an extension that offers an emailer two valuable advantages:

1. The option to change any entry in the ‘From:’ field BEFORE sending
2. An automatic lookup for an appropriate, alternate identity. (If none is found, one is created.)

Additional advantages:

• Store every Virtual Identity ever used for a recipient. Reuse them for new emails to that recipient.
• For drafts, any identity/s created for that email will be remembered in later sessions.
