Depending on your usage schema it might be useful for you to copy some settings from the (base) identity, which was initially changed to create a virtual identity, in this new, virtual identity.

If you are using S/MIME security settings for your newly composed email, you have to transfer the S/MIME security settings (i.e. your key configuration) to your newly created Identity. This might unveil your real identity / email and is therefore [off by default]

For a similar reason vCard attachments are usually not transferred to your newly created identity, [off by default]. If you like to use a predefinded identity-card even for your virtual identities, you should activate this switch.
