Hi, I have changed the default SMTP but It seems that Virtual Identity doesn't realized this change.

So I cannot send my emails because Virtual Identity uses the old SMTP.

Moreover, could I force all contacts to use a specific SMTP server with select one-by-one?

it should realize this, it will be good if we can debug this issue. Please activate the debug-output (last Tab in Preferences) and post the output while trying to send. Watch out for confidential information before posting here (search/replace emails before posting)

There is currently no feature to change all of the SMTP-settings at once. But you can stop Thunderbird, make a backup of your virtualIdentity.rdf (see in you profiles folder) and change than in the used one every line containing 'NS1:smtp="vI_useDefaultSMTP"' into 'NS1:smtp="smtpX"'
