mark an address as "do not use"

hi, exceptionaly usefull plugin, it has made my mail management much easier.

i have my own domain and assign email addresses to each company that requires i give them one, eg: virtualidentity@… is what i would use to correspond with you, which means i can filter easily and tell if you have sold my contact details to other companies :)

unfortunately the MDA on my server by default uses daniel@… as the x-original-to: and Delivered-to: fields, which means virtual identity keeps trying to use this as the from address. I never have, and never will use this email address but it keeps coming up.

would it be possible in the "Virtual Identity Data Storage" window to add a tick box or some sort of option to say "never use this as the From Address" and possibly a "use this address as default" box too ?

Hi,

you should be able to re-configure the email-is behavior in the options dialog - check the SmartReply tab. There you can select which headers should be used to detect the appropriate senders identity. After you used it once right (by detecting the right headers) the selected identity it will be stored and preferred at every next attempt to write to the same recipient - can't see where the "do not use" feature is required.

So, closing this ticket by now, but feel free to reopen and add some comments if you still feel the requirement for this feature.
