Description

Hello, Rene!

I really liked Your extension and I made for him a russian translation. Archive of the translation is attached to the message, and can be found here: http://ukrntb.com/misc/tb/extensions/v_identity_0.5_ru-RU.zip

Also, I have some suggestions. It would be nice to add to the ability to add ie. "common" address. These addresses are universal and can be used to send messages to any recipients. These addresses should also be available in the menu of virtual identity, for example, like this:
http://ukrntb.com/misc/tb/extensions/aliceBobSelector_n.png
In this case, could be completely abandon the additional addresses, that can be added to the base identity.

Thanks in advance.

Sergei (Vinser)

Hi Sergei,

thanks you for your translation - I will include this into 0.5.14 in a few days. Please try if you can translate 0.6 too, because some of the locales have changed and 0.6 will be released in a few days. It will replace 0.5.x than, further development & support of 0.5.x will not be done.

For translations of 0.6 have a look at babelzilla.org or download the latest release-candidate from this site.

0.6 also includes the option to define filters in the address storage. If you like to have an address like bob@… added to any dopdown dialog, just define a filter in the storage-editor.

Hope this will fit your requirements, thanks for the translation,

regards, Rene

Yes, it works... But, for a one filter rule, I can add only one address. How to make sure that I can use multiple addresses to any dropdown menu?

I need that in any dropdown menu to display multiple addresses. For example:
bob1@…
bob2@…
bob3@…
bob4@…
etc...

How to define the rules?

Hi Sergei,

currently it's not possible to add multiple identities to the dropdown menu. I might add this as an additional feature, but not for the 0.6.0 release scheduled on 1st March. Even not sure if this is really useful - there are already to many options in this extension.

If you like to have some identies which are added always to the dropdown menu, can't you create additional Identities with usual Account-Configuration of Thunderbird?

Regards, Rene

Hi, Rene.

Now I just use the Account-Configuration to add additional addresses. But, would like to see this feature was present in the program. Then we can be completely abandon the use of the Account-Configuration to add additional addresses.

Regards, Sergei.
