Description
If a mail comes from a mailing list (cf. Ticket #19) or has no proper "To:" header for any reason, the first configured of all (real) identities is chosen. It should, however, be the identity of the current mailbox that the mail is being read in.
Note: See
TracTickets for help on using
tickets.
Hi,
just activate the debug-output or describe the problem more precise. Currently by default the 'x-original-to', 'to' and 'cc' headers are used for finding Identities. Just add for instance the 'received:1:@' or the 'envelope-to' header to the search list to find the address you received the mail to. Have a look in the message source, there should be a header containing your address. If you use the received-header, i suggest to add the ':@' option to only use the email address, cause the Fullname is not contained there. Anyway, if Virtual Identity couldn't find any address, it won't change the Identity Thunderbird has selected to reply to this mail. Just check if the behavior differs if you deactivate or uninstall Virtual Identity. If you feal that it differs, please send the debug-output (if you don't like to publish it here) by mail to just at absorb dot it.
Regards, Rene
