Forwarding RSS messages

Description
When I forward a message from an RSS feed folder, then your add-on uses the from address of the rss message as the value for my "FROM" message (and marks it as virtual id). This happens not for all RSS feeds. I haven't figured out a pattern yet. But definitely that is not a desired behavior.

Hi,
with the given link (http://feeds.reuters.com/reuters/topNews) I was able to reproduce your problem - not that I was able why Thunderbird handles for instance http://blog.absorb.it/feed differently.
Anyway, thought I have found a way to detect any blog/news-feed by checking for an existing content-base header (which will be added by Thunderbird). Not sure how often this header is part of any other, usual mail, but with commit [68cb93df7ae] the header-detection is now in force - we will see how this works...
If you like, you can use a snapshot from virtual_identity-0.6.5-1-g68cb93d-tb+sm.xpi which includes this change to test - the fix will be contained in release 0.6.6
Nice regards, Rene
Hi,
currently I don't have a suitable internet connectivity to check outthe RSS functionality of Thunderbird - never used it before. I will do this in April, as soon as I can do a more detailed check I will give you some more information.
Nice regards, Rene
