OpenPGP key based on email doesn't work anymore :(

I have my thunderbird account configured to have use a GPG key based on the email address (as opposed to a fixed key).

IIRC, Virtual Identity 0.5x on thunderbird 2.x worked as expected: If I have two keys (a@… and b@…) and I send an email normally, i.e. w/o a virtual identity from a@…, that key is used. And if I change the email address to b@…, the other key is used.

This behaviour, however, does not exist anymore.

Hi,

virtual identity can't change the way and the moment in which enigmail compares the email address against it's preferences. But just create an 'real' identity for any permanently used id - and it should work than.
