Would like to add name string to from: email address

When using this plugin, From gets set to From: foo@…, but I'd like to add my name to it,

From: Foo Bar <foo@…>

Is this possible?

Hi,

if the from:-address will be generated out of headers of your received mail, this can be easily done. Check the Source-Mail->Compare section of your preferences (docs/0.7/tab0/tree3). There you can add some default name which will be used if the name is empty.

There is even some option to force the generated name to be empty, which can be found in the Source-Mail->Read Identities area (docs/0.7/tab0/tree1). Add an ':@' to the selected header and the retrieved name will be ignored.

If you already have stored identities and you have the storing / reading activated, the Names will not be changed with this options.
