Description
Hi,
Thank you for your useful software. I use it very often.
I just found 1 problem :
When I send an email to someone, a "Return-Path:" header adds to the email, even if I use my own SMTP server. Also, if I change my "real" identity into Thunderbird, that header "Return-Path:" changes too. I use SMTP without any authentication, so it's really Thunderbird who send that.
Maybe do you have an idea to change it ?
Thank you ;)

Hi,
sorry for beeing that quiet. It's a good while ago I had this problem too and I fixed it by creating an Account instead of an Identity for the Virtual Idenities. I will check if this still happens in the next days and report back, maybe I can find a way to circumvent this.
Nice regards, Rene

Hi,
there is no (easy) way to fix this. If mail is not sended immediately, the temporary account which is created to hold the identity does not exist any more. The rest is the magic of thunderbird - if it sends the mail later or in background and there is no matching account, thunderbird adds the return-path. So, I cant fix this.
Nice regards, Rene
I have news :
I found it's when I disable send mail progress (mailnews.show_send_progress --> false) and I activate send mail in background (mailnews.sendInBackground --> true) there is that bug.
Please, maybe do you have any solution ?
Thank you ;)
