Smart-reply rules to determine 3rd Identity

I am part of a team responding to mails on an alias we do so by setting

From: Me <myemail@example.org>
Reply-To: Alias <alias@example.org>
CC: Alias <alias@example.org>

in the mails so everyone can keep track of who's been answered.

As the plugin works now however I have to set the "From" field to a wrong value for the addon to automatically select the correct identity.

From: Me <alias@example.org>

It would be nice if I could create rules to select an identity with another email address than the one activating the rule. Either that or perhaps have identities based on the folder the mail replied to is in.

sorry for the long delay, didn't understood your bug report and later forgot about that. First, for bug-reports please upgrade to version 0.5., available on https://www.absorb.it/virtual-id/wiki/DownloadPage since a few days.

I understood the schema with the reply-to for your team. But what do you mean with "I have to set the "From" field to a wrong value for the addon to automatically select the correct identity"? You change the From: field to a value by your own and than the extension selects something for you? What does it select? Any preconfigured Identity?

Maybe with the version 0.5.3 you can manually check the Virtual Identity storage for the related value (using the new storage editor). Beside, version 0.5.3 handles permanently stored Identities a little different, maybe this solves you problem. Or, send a debug log output (activate it in the options dialog) to help me understanding your problem.
