Mayor annoyance on upgrade

The current upgrade caused a wizard to require 5 or so clicks. There was is absolutely no reason not to do everything the wizard did on it's pages automatically.

Mozilla add-ons can be updated automatically (which is good), but they frequently stop the workflow of a user who just wants to start the application and use it.

DO NOT DO SUCH THINGS! Update with minimal user interaction. Preferably with none.

Hi,

you are right. It was introduced to give the user (and me) feedback on some critical upgrade-steps (which worked nicely), but is not required for each and every upgrade as it is now. It will be changed for 0.5.6, 0.5.5 is just out and has the same 'feature'
