Would be nice to have the possibility to add a header to the local copy of sent mail which contains the used smtp server (server-name and user name if authentication was used.)

Hi,
no chance to implement this. To change the stored headers I will have to rewrite the Thunderbird/Seamonkey? headers handling and/or the handling of mails, don't think it's a good idea to do this with this extension. Beside, I don't know how to do this, till now I haven't touched this area and I think it's wise to leave it like this.
To work clean and flawlessly with all the different platforms and extensions virtual Identity uses the separate storage, and this way a previously used SMTP server might be recognized too. If you require more than this, it's better placed in a different extension (maybe there is one, don't know).
Nice regards and thanks for the idea, Rene
