#353 closed enhancement (fixed)

Additional Thunderbird column: Envelope-to

Reported by: absorb.it@… Owned by: rene
Version: 0.8.6 Keywords:
Cc:

Description

Users of VI will often receive email to different email addresses, and the default Tbird column Recipient reports only what is in the To header. I suggest that VI add a column for the Envelope-to header, which will always include the proper address.

Thanks!

Hi,

implemented with [b08078fd41a6], now you can just show any header which was choosen in the smart-reply settings. but you have to wait for 0.9 to get ready, hopefully soon.

Nice Regards, thanks again for the idea, Rene

Hi again,

removed this feature from virtual-identity again and created separate small extension which can be found and downloaded from https://github.com/absorb-it/Headercolumns/downloads . Feels better to have this thing separate, maybe someone else might use it too.

Nice regards, Rene

This extension seems to be broken, I just get "--" in the column.

Hi,

problem is in the broken Thunderbird Code - has to be fixed there. Check http://groups.google.com/group/mozilla.dev.apps.thunderbird/browse_thread/thread/5f537747ea78db1d for more info...

Sorry, same problem blocks 0.9pre-release :(

Nice regards, Rene
