After the upgrade to Thunderbird 7, I am unable to send EMails, when VI is enabled.

When I disable VI, sending Mails works.

This Problem is present, even when sending trying to send an EMail with the Base-Identity.

Hi,

sorry for the trouble, but it's working here with TB 7.0 and version 0.8.6. Not that I'ts heavily tested, but sending works. Any special cases? Additional Extensions enabled?

Can you please check the error console (Tools Menu) for any related errors after the sending failed?

I tried disabling all other addons, but that didn't help. Just to be clear: Sending doesn't fail - it's just not possible: nothing happens when I click on the Send button.

what seems to work is to remove and reinstall the plugin. After new install the Plugin Version 0.8.6. works fine with thunderbird 7.

strange, there is no relevant code at line 324, but maybe I'm misinterpreting the error message.

Can you send me the extension directly from your profile directory, it is in the folder extensions and named {ddd428e-5ac8-4a81-9f78-276c734f75b8}.xpi and I will check if this is really the one I published?

Based on your suggestion I tried reinstalling, and now it works. If the upgrade-settings dialog isn't lying, I had version 0.6.8 before - which looks similar enough for me :9

this makes sense, 0.6.8 is not working and contains the relevant error-line in the code. I will close the ticket now, just reopen if it still does not work.
