Hi,

just wanted to tell you that I was searching for months to get such a functionality in thunderbird.

I'm using a mailserver and have an email address for every company I handle with. For example aol@... whitehouse@... hardwareshop@... I have about 200 email addresses.

When filling out contact formulars I enter the specific email address (hardwareshop@...)

1. Absolutely no spam because I just delete the specific email address
2. Interessting to know that even big companies sell your email address after 6 months after the last communication

Problem in Thunderbird is that you can't change the FROM field (well, except Extras -> Default Account settings...) so I always have to log in to my webmailer which allows exactly this feature (but of course it's a webmailer, no history etc...)

So thank god I found this Add-On, it's wonderful, thank you thank you thank you it saves me loads of work now !!! :) Too bad it's not listed in the Thunderbird Add-Ons (anymore), it deserved a place in the Top10 for me!
